Film, 70’li yıllarda Arjantin’de yıllarca tutuklu kalan ve en acımasız katillerden biri olan Carlos Robledo Puch’un hayatını anlatıyor. Sarı kıvırcık saçları ve bebeksi yüzü nedeniyle ‘Ölüm Meleği’ olarak adlandırılan Carlos, gençlik yıllarında ufak suçlar işlemeye başlar. Zamanla işlediği suçlarla arkadaşı Ramon’a hava atmaya başlar ve bu sayede yakalanır. Carlos yakalandığında ise görünüşü ve çekiciliği sayesinde bir gecede üne kavuşur. Carlos’un aktif suç işlediği kısa dönemde 40’tan fazla hırsızlık yaptığına ve 11 kişiyi öldürdüğüne inanılıyor.
